Your Responsibilities & Essential Job Duties:

• Listen and guide clients through their vehicle purchasing process
• Match clients with the vehicle that reflects their needs
• Build a lasting relationship with the client
• Complete and organize proper paperwork for Sales and Finance Managers
• Have knowledge of proper vehicle inventory

Job Requirements & Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Must be authorized to work in the US
• Must have a valid Driver's License with clean driving record
• Minimum of 18 years of age
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Positive and outgoing personality with high energy
• Eagerness and drive to succeed
• Strong work ethic with an upbeat positive attitude
• Previous sales experience is a plus (automotive not required)

• Detail oriented and excels in a fast-paced, results driven environment
• Self-motivated with ability to multi-task
• Clean vehicle exterior by hand, brush or by operating washing equipment
• Dry and clean vehicle windshields, windows, lights, mats and exterior body
• Vacuum, shampoo interior (if stain removal required)
• Verify appropriate stickers are attached to vehicle (plates, etc.)
• May be responsible for maintaining an inventory of cleaning supplies
• Must be able or willing to learn to wet sand/ buff
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

TERRY THOMAS FORD IS EXPANDING!

The all-new TERRY THOMAS FORD is looking to hire a Lube Technician to maintain and service customers' vehicles. The Lube Technicians responsibilities include preparing detailed vehicle service reports, replacing vehicle wiper blades and car batteries, and changing motor oil as well as transmission and brake fluid as needed. You should also be able to keep vehicle interiors clean while performing maintenance and servicing tasks.

To be successful as a Lube Technician, you should have strong mechanical skills and adhere to all safety procedures and practices. Ultimately, an outstanding Lube Technician should be able to communicate effectively with customers and demonstrate excellent time management skills.

Job Opportunity:

Lube Technician Responsibilities:

• Applying lubricants to the moving parts of vehicle engines to prevent premature engine wear and ensure optimal engine performance.
• Lubricating wheel bearings to prevent excessive tire wear.
• Performing engine cleanings to prevent rust formation.
• Replacing cabin, fuel, air, and oil filters as required.
• Performing tire rotations to ensure even tire wear.
• Testing tire pressure and adding air as needed.
• Thoroughly inspecting customers' vehicles for oil leaks.
• Making recommendations for additional servicing based on initial vehicle inspections.
• Notifying the Service Advisor when vehicle maintenance or servicing cannot be completed within scheduled timeframes.

 

Lube Technician Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification is advantageous.
• Proven experience in automotive maintenance and repair.
• Valid driver's license.
• Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
• Detail-oriented.
• Excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication skills.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
